\nA native Ohioan\, Janet graduated from Lorain High Scho
 ol and Baldwin-Wallace College. She has taught in three Ohio school systems
  and now lives in Westerville. Currently\, Janet is a board member of the W
 orthington Area Art League\, and she has served as president in the past. S
 he is a member of the Westerville Art league and the Central Ohio Watercolo
 r Society.

\nHer paintings of the Ohio Bicentennial Barns appeared on 19
  phonebook covers around the state. Her painting of the Ohio State Capital 
 was featured on the 2003 holiday card for Governor Taft's staff. Recent com
 missions include Velvet Ice Cream's Ye Old Mill which appeared on their car
 ds and packaging\, the Burton Morgan center at Denison University and the G
 ranville Inn.

 and  "Sympathy" cards for victims & survivors of cancer and other terminal 
 illnesses. Janet\, along with other artists\, donated original artwork for 
 the cards.
