DESCRIPTION:The Columbus Maennerchor is proud to present Vaughn Weister's F
 amous Jazz Orchestra in a public concert every Monday evening from 7:30pm u
 ntil 11:00pm.  This orchestra is made up of 21 very talented professional m
 usicians and they play the best Big Band Charts from the last 50 years.The 
 Historic Columbus Maennerchor\, founded in 1848\, is located in the heart o
 f the German Village/Brewery  District and has plenty of free parking.  The
 se concerts are open to folks of all ages.  Families with kids are welcome.
  This is an opportunity to hear the sounds of Woody Herman\, Stan Kenton\, 
 Duke Ellington and all the great bands\, without ever leaving Columbus.  Th
 ere is a $10 cover charge for adults and special rates are available for ki
 ds and groups.  Columbus Public School Live Musical Performance Vouchers ar
 e welcome too.
