  through 400 years of the evolution of the Astronomical Telescopes. There w
 ill be solar observing\, comet making\, astronomical imaging demonstrations
 \, radio astronomy\, telescope making\, a Perkins Observatory tour\, observ
 ing at night by CAS telescopes\, and much more. The event takes place at Pe
 rkins Observatory (Rt. 23\, 10 miles north of 270)\, Saturday\, August 8 fr
 om 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Arrive before 8 p.m\, because gates will shut promptly
  at 8 p.m. There is a $5.00 charge per car. The event is sponsored by the C
