 Kidd Pivot is a superlative seven-member dance company from Canada led by c
 horeographer and dancer Crystal Pite\, a former member of William Forsythe'
 s famed Frankfurt Ballet who also currently serves as associate choreograph
 er of the prestigious Nederlands Dans Theater. Lost Action offers a dynamic
  rumination on love and loss that's as emotionally charged as it is thrilli
 ng in its physicality. The title comes from military lingo employed in the 
 theater of combat\, and Lost Action's intense imagery evokes interpersonal 
 engagement\, dissolving relationships\, and sorrow. The piece builds in rap
 id-fire phrases\, shifting from passages of subtle fluidity to fierce burst
 s of kinetic energy. Dance audiences who were intrigued by the choreographi
 c language that underpinned our exhibitionWilliam Forsythe: Transfiguration
 s will be keen to see how these inspirational ideas are taken in fresh dire
