 2009 Public Forum\, where you'll learn how advocacy can clearly demonstrate
  the economic\, social and educational benefits of public investment in the
  arts. A panel of experts will discuss strategies and techniques to build p
 ublic support for the arts. Panelists include:\n\n- Christie Angel\, a go
 vernment affairs expert with local firm Sean P. Dunn & Associates and forme
 r Chief of Staff for Mayor Michael B. Coleman. \n- Wayne P. Lawson\, (mode
 rator)\, former Ohio Arts Council Executive Director. \n- Thomas B. Schorg
 l\, President and CEO of the Community Partnership for Arts & Culture (CPAC
 )\, which works to strengthen and advance Northwest Ohio's region and the a
 rts and cultural sector through unique public and private partnerships. \n
 \nThe annual Public Forum helps GCAC monitor the pulse of the arts communi
 ty while providing the public with the opportunity to directly address the 
 board of trustees on any arts issue of interest. After the panel discussion
 \, forum attendees will have the chance to address the board and GCAC Inter
 im President Milt Baughman.\n\nTo allow for adequate time on the agenda\,
