DESCRIPTION:Remote Sensing is a collection of Nicole's recent works of mult
 i-media drawings that employ the cool\, impervious perspective of satellite
 s to investigate control\, communication\, and chaos in one dear and diffic
 ult relationship.  In these drawings\, there are implications of command an
 d precision alongside leakage and devastation.  Geometric symbols referenci
 ng communication\, strategy\, and observation populate these images.  Long-
 lasting mylar and paint are layered with decaying newsprint and clay as met
 aphors for cleaning up messes\, mitigating damages\, and distancing oneself
  from future catastrophes.
